The mid-generation ships all were refurbished in 1995, giving them a level of comfort similar to the new ships. The most important difference is that the mid-generation ships are smaller. The ships are decorated with art by well-known artists from the regions through which the Norwegian Coastal Voyage sails. The panorama lounges on the top decks ensure that you will get excellent views of the passing scenery. These lounges also have bars.
